Glastonbury have confirmed date when 2013 tickets go on sale.
Today would have been the day when Glastonbury opened their gates to early revelers for their annual 1000 acre music festival.
But of course, sadly this year organisers are having a well-earned break,and with this being their fallow year the festival will not be going ahead this weekend.
Glastonburyfields.co.uk have announced today that Glastonbury tickets for their 2013 festival will be going on sale at 9am Sunday October 7 2012

Glastonbury remain committed to ticket touting and have asked for anyone wanting to attend the festival in 2013 to register in advance of tickets going on sale here: https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/Registration/Register
Registration remains free and any person over the age of 13 who wishes to register is asked to do so by visiting the site and uploading their details and a picture of themselves by September 30 2012.
The dates for next years Glastonbury is Wednesday June 26 – Sunday June 30 2013, the cost of tickets is expected to be around £200.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1 Newsbeat the 76-year-old dairy farmer confirmed that the bands were ‘already sorted’ but gave no clues as to who the headliners would be.

Michael Eavis told Amazing Radio back in May that he is “Excited about the plans for next years festival”. He added that their will be “Another four (festivals) for sure and we are trying to do 50 years which will be another eight years with two years off, so another six we reckon”
